Massimo Roj was born in Milan in 1960 and graduated in 1986 in Architecture at Politecnico of Milan. Starting from 1982 he worked in many companies, like Spinelli, Morisi and Helg. From 1988 he worked in an international planning company as Project Architect and Project Manager. In 1994 he founded Progetto CMR, an Italian company leader in integrated planning, working on Space Planning, Interior Design and Architecture. Since 2000, he has been exploring new markets: he joined the HOK european network EAN and in 2002 he entered the Chinese market. Thanks to Massimo Roj, Progetto CMR has today a very strong presence in China implemented also through the two branch offices in Beijing and Tianjin. Since 2006 he is a member of ULI (Urban Land Institute) scientific committee and he is also Visiting Professor at Tianjin University.
