Inspired by the art of Piet Mondriaan and the Russian Constructivism, Roderick Vos conceived coffee table Manhattan as a landscape formation that requires its user to experiment and rediscover its function. A beautiful composition that is much more practical than expected. Made of birch plywood with smoked oak veneer.
ABOUT THE DESIGNER
This Dutch designer graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 1990. Together with his wife Claire he ran a design and manufacturing company on the Indonesian island of Java. In 2004 they started their own design office and store in Den Bosch, in the South of the Netherlands.
